I originally built the Hexagonal Wave for a concert by the New Century Chamber Orchestra at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, although it has since found a temporary home at the Chabot Space and Science Center. Tapered white cardboard tubes in an hexagonal pattern ripple outward from the center in concentric circles.
